Tom Becker was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He is one of five boys, which contributed to a lively family dynamic.
At the age of two, his parents acquired a charming abandoned homestead farm on Crane Island in the picturesque San Juan Islands. Growing up on this majestic island and surrounded by nature's beauty fostered his deep love for carpentry from a very young age.
During his teenage years, he started an apprenticeship with a skilled builder, gaining useful hands-on experience. After attending Western Washington University, he studied woodworking at the Wood Technology Center a division of Seattle Central College.
He impressively built his own home in Seattle at the age of twenty-nine and in 2021 designed and completed his own backyard cottage. Tom takes immense pride in his craftsmanship. His meticulous attention to detail shines through in every project he undertakes.
